Don't just read the Bible, feel its heartbeat.

A poem for every book of the Bible (coming soon!)

Other poems included too!

These poems are written to evoke not only greater understanding of the context of the Bible, but also the heart of God in it. When I started writing Biblical poetry after years of writing poetry, it came from an outpour that I couldn't contain...either I was amazed by God's extravagant heart, I was humbled by humanity's spiritual poverty, or another beautiful truth in His Word. Whenever I was able to suddenly grasp something deeper, the immediate and involuntary response was poetry. My hope is that these poems lead you into greater understanding of the context, the original reader's mindset, the characters' experiences, etc. and encounter God's heart in the love letter written for you.

The poems are categorized by which book or chapter of the Bible they come from. The goal is to have at least one poem for every book of the Bible + more. I am only at the beginning, so there isn't too much yet. They will be continually added here so keep checking back for new content!
